Met up with Wern to get a book from Kino/ get coffee.

Returned to my grandparent's place instead in a futile attempt to wait for my sister. Ended up going home to change first for Reunion dinner.

Reunion Dinner was a little different this year (okay, this is an understatement). Usually, the four of us (Mom, Dad, Sis & I) spend the night before New Year with the entire Maternal side of the family, double steamboat with everyone gathered around two long tables in the hall. However, this year is Dinner at Keppel Club with a portion of the Paternal side and the half-cousins. It was just like a somewhat awkward dinner, i mean, a "reunion" dinner with no one you that you can "reunite" with. heehaw -.-

First Day of CNY was back to normal, started off with going to my grandma's house.

I love the "Oily noodle" we eat every year! It's somewhat like meesua-ish, with ingredients like fried egg, seaweed, pacific clams, cabbage and mushrooms. Anyone has that too?

CNY gathering with E8!! Everyone but nana was there ):

all gathered around, cosy & updating each other about our lifes.


we bth-ed after a while and went down to pig out even before yam could come. Ended up eating donuts, papadum and prata before yam finally turned up with the roast duck. waaaaa~~

We were supposed to have Yusheng (would have been my 3rd time) and dessert but somehow we just totally forgot about it!!! Too caught up with talking & all, i like it though. We should really gather like this more okay!

Made wern wait like 1.5 hours before i got to dhoby ghaut :x oooooops. Only realized that we bought the wrong tickets after leaving the counter. Hung around at starbucks and outside till it was 1.40am (WTFFFFFFFF HAHAHHA).

the squishy toy in cj7 is adorableeeee!!! & i still enjoy the lame humour of stephenchow's shows. I thought cj7 was better than kungfu dunk, but that's just me. There are so many movies i want to watch recently! They're all coming out the same timeeeeeeee.....
